Dacre Montgomery Instagram – So excited to finally share my first film ‘IN VITRO’ with you all. IN VITRO asks the question WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE A MOTHER? My own mother works in perinatal women’s health and has shared some incredibly moving and devastating stories (about motherhood) over the years which I aim to shed light on. My short follows the story of Amanda who creates a reality where her child is not the product of sexual assault, in order to deal with what has happened to her. I’ve been fascinated with film since I was a child and cannot express how amazing this process has been to be surrounded by my best friends AND to have been mentored by so many incredible artists who each brought an offering of their own creative capacity and generosity to the telling of this story, thank you. I want to say a big thank you to my mum and all the mother’s out there.
