Bruce’s foster has AMAZING things to say about this legendary cutie, who we really hope is swooped up soon! Read more about Bruce’s awesome time in foster below!💘 . “Bruce Bearsteen is so quiet and gentle. I haven’t heard him bark or really make any noise unless he’s playing tug o’ war, which he loves. He’s very affectionate and will hug you and lick your face. He never bites or snaps not even when playing. He slept through all the fireworks, he seemed to have no anxiety whatsoever. He’s fine around people and kids. When I saw him at the shelter there was another family interested and he came right up to the kids and was very friendly. When I take him on walks he’s a dream on the leash. I’ve walked him and let him meet dogs that we come across and he hasn’t been a problem, including small dogs. He does seem to prefer more mellow dogs. I haven’t had him off leash with any other dogs. He needs some socialization with dogs as he can rush forward in excitement, which may seem pushy to other dogs. A good fit is someone who can train with him and is willing to commit to him forever. Bruce is really a great dog!” . Bruce is 3 years old, and came into the shelter on 12/13/2018, with another dog, Gracie (#A1829786) after their owner was arrested.
