While I continue to do films and TV, my heart will always come back to #theatre because itโs the core of everything. The magic of theatreโฆ Itโs breathtaking, and nothing will ever replace that. Itโs not just about saying your lines or marking the correct blocking at the right moment, and itโs about being truly alive on the stage. Itโs about telling the stories that make a difference, and when people leave the theatre, they take that piece of the story with them and let it inspire them to change the world, whatever that may be. Thatโs the freedom, beauty, truth, and love of theatre. Theatre might currently be in another dark age, but mark my words, weโll be back but bolder and louder this time.

My advice to all theatre companies out thereโฆ Do not be afraid with partnering deaf theatre companies or any theatre companies that might not โfit the norms,โ and you know what? Defy the norms and do something extraordinary. Real. Honest. And you might surprise yourself.
