Home Actor Arjun Kamath HD Instagram Photos and Wallpapers February 2021 Arjun Kamath Instagram - The evening light was growing golden by the minute when I was driving through the quaint city of Khuldabad in Maharashtra. On the way, I saw an unusual whirlpool of dust outside my car window, so I decided to stop. As I cut through the flying dust, I saw a man engrossed in sculpting, his hands masterly guiding the machine that fervently chipped at a stone slab. Having acknowledged my presence, he carried on with the arduous task in all sincerity. I took the time to walk around and explore his petite workshop, which was decorated with half-made figurines and fine sculptures. The dusty haze of grey all around with the only colour being that of the man’s vibrant mask stood out for me, while the figurines in the background hinted at his work of the past few days. Intrigued by the whole setting, I quietly took the hold of my camera. In that exact moment, he looked up for the very first time and that was a sign enough for me to click on the shutter button of my camera. It was only later when we got talking that I could know more about him. His name was Hiralal Chauhan, and along with his family, he spent most of his time sculpting figurines out of kala patthar. Other talks were shared, about his work and how he has pursued it for 20 years. But the thing that stayed the most with me were his parting words. He told me that he was not able to pay due attention to me because his work demanded precise attention and a distraction of even a split second could result in grave injury. As he uttered those words, I was taken aback and could only see him in a light of greater respect. I believe that is what I love the most about travelling, that it allows me to learn more about the world and the people who live in it. Through my frames, I try to capture a sneak peek into people’s lives and tell their stories, capturing the essence of their personality. In a way, this act makes all my travels creatively fulfilling and fruitful, and I see it as one of the most enjoyable things about photography. #CapturedOnCanon with a Canon EOS 5D Mark IV & a 24-70mm F/2.8 II Lens #arjunkamathphotography #portrait #man #carving #stone #khultabad #aurangabad #yourshotphotographer Bhadra Maruti Temple, Khuldabad

Arjun Kamath Instagram – Throughout my 11-year journey of photography, one thing has been a constant. I absolutely love street photography, clicking portraits in particular. Since the day I held a camera for the first time, I have been fascinated with faces & characters, along with the colourful surprises that lay scattered for me in every corner. And till date, I feel the same electrifying enthusiasm whenever I head out to capture the essence of Indian streets & its people, always trying to showcase their character & stories through my images.

One such gleeful moment came about for me in the fruit market of Paithan, Maharashtra. It was a busy day on the streets &I was navigating through carts decorated with vibrant fruits when I saw this man. These days, you don’t easily find people wearing ethnic attire on the regular, so when I saw his bright red turban, I was instantly fascinated. At the time, he was buying apples from a lady, but amidst the frenzy, I could not find the right frame to click.

So, I followed him as he left the apple cart, waiting for the right moment to take a picture. Soon, as he took a seat, I walked up to the corner & clicked the shutter button on my camera, capturing his curious gaze. I could tell from his expressions that he must have encountered a DSLR very few times in his life, and I was glad to have frozen that sweet moment in time. Furthermore, I have always been drawn to frames where the expressions of my subject are organic & raw, which I was able to capture here untarnished since the man barely saw me approaching.

Right after, the moment I put my camera down, he greeted me with the warmest smile & joined hands to convey a Namaste. I smiled back at the warmth in his simple gesture. As I walked away, I thought to myself how this is the beauty of travelling in India, where I get to meet all these friendly strangers who always leave their mark. So many times have I been greeted with genuine smiles, wishes of a happy journey, and sweet goodbyes, that even in a strange land, I end up feeling at home. And I couldn’t be happier about it.

Arjun Kamath Instagram – I was recently in Aurangabad with mum and dad, where we made the unmissable trip to the marvellous caves of Ellora. A cluster of 34 caves dedicated to several religions and showcasing different architectural styles, the place was an enigma that unfurled slowly. This particular picture is of Cave 10, a majestic Buddhist monastery cum cathedral that left me awestruck in a single gaze.

It was a sunny afternoon and I was walking around in admiration of the archaic beauty all around me, when I came across this stunning facade. Instantly, I froze at the splendour of it all, and it didn’t take me two seconds to find the perfect frame that I wanted to shoot. Knowing that my parents had already ventured inside the cave, I decided to sit down on the damp ground without any care in the world. I was curiously waiting for them to wander into the balcony at some point, all set to freeze the moment.

As soon as my father stepped in, I waited for the tourists to move away and requested him to walk to the edge of the balcony. Watching him stand there wearing a contrasting blue against the rustic brown cave, I felt like a child who had been surprised with candy and thus couldn’t hold his excitement. Dad lingered there for a while and then carried on since it was sweltering hot. But it was time enough for me to get the shot, almost as if my muscle memory had taken over, scouting the perfect composition and then clicking the shutter button on my camera.

And although I rarely share wide shots of my travel stories, my eyes are accustomed to see the world in terms of stories and enticing frames. So, whenever I see one, I can’t help but take a photograph. This time around, the moment was all the more special, since I had the pleasure of having someone from my family grace the frame, adding a personal connection to it.
