Danny Way Instagram – There was a time when I was a kid 1986-87 on every Wednesday’s where we used to bring launch ramps down to these same locations in Mission and Pacific Beach, these sessions evolved into a pretty big deal and became known as Big Wednesday. Pretty cool how many people would turn up only to hear about it by word of mouth, decades prior to social media and public skateparks. This was a special moment in time and the place to be back then if you wanted to skate the streets with some of the top pros or local rippers.
