Michael Bearden Instagram – My personal 9/11/01 story is long. The short version is:⠀ ⠀ On 9/10/01, this was literally my view from the stage. Performing at The Garden for MJ’s 30th anniversary concert with MJ, his brothers, and every other artist on the show! ⠀ ⠀ On 9/11/01, I had to get back to LA to make rehearsals for another special. My Delta flight took off around 8a.m. We never made it to California! (I’m working on a book for the rest of the story)⠀ ⠀ I knew a few people personally who lost their lives that day. They worked in the building. I had been there many times. ⠀ ⠀ I will never forget that day! I will also never forget that just for a moment after those events, Americans were more united than ever before. Maybe one day, we can get there again! M~
