After my t-ball game I had a little snack, it was a cheese burrito. Just then, I got the best idea ever. I came to my dad in the evening. He was sitting in the living room at our home in Pittsburg, California also known as The Bay Area.  I came up to my dad and announced, ¨I would like to write a book.¨  My dad asked me, ¨What would you like to write about, son? I told my dad I would like to write a book about not giving up. My dad and I were so excited about the book idea.  My mom, Erica and my dad, Will, took my vision and made an inspirational book about me. It took about six months for the book to be complete, but it felt like a century. Just then, a lady from the Pittsburg, California newspaper did an article about my book and they took a picture of me in my house! I didn't know about the lady, and when she came I felt surprised.   I also had a big book release party at a bookstore, it was at downtown Pittsburg, it is called Railroad Book Depot. It was my mom's idea to get everyone together for a big release party for my book.  My mother got all of my family and friends customized yellow, white pink, orange and red t-shirts with the book cover on the t-shirts. There was a face painter at the bookstore to do all the kids' faces, and my favorite restaurant, Lumpy's Diners right across the street from the bookstore donated sixty hot dogs for my book release event! I was so happy because some of my classmates and teachers from my old private school Saint Peter Martyr in Pittsburg, California showed up to the book release event and I felt the love from everyone. My god dad, Jamal came all the way down from Sacramento to Pittsburg to my book release party to read everyone out loud my book, Mylo’s Dream Adventures.   All of the community, my family, my friends and even the police department came out to show me love and support. My friends were happy to see me. It made me feel excited because I loved all the attention. Mylo´s Dream Adventures is a book about failure that can be a part of life but you should never give up, especially on your dreams.
