Beau Garrett Instagram – It feels it has been eons since I have stepped foot on the glorious world of a set. Ages since I have collaborated with artists, navigated characters and walked into the folds of goodness that is created after months of working with the family you create on a project. I can’t wait for Firefly Lane to make its way into your home on February 3rd. Thank you @kristinhannahauthor for creating Cloud who liberated my wild side, made me tap into deeply buried vulnerabilities and challenged my own personal judgements. She is unapologetic. She is fragile. She is all bits of dark sprinkled with all bits of light. Thank you @netflix and @maggiemarief for giving this show wings. Can’t wait to see it soar. And to all of you actors that danced with me, can’t wait to watch and see you shine.
Beau Garrett Instagram – I’m one gin cocktail in so forgive me. As I approach one year of konas passing I am met feeling like I am barely grasping the slick walls of time. It just keeps going. Pandemic infused, chaotic and unknown, our communities small enough to fit in a bubble and large enough to divide. It’s uncharted and terrifying and yet, slippery and momentary. I’d give anything to step back to this moment on the Oregon coast with my first pup, Kona. Camping with no inhibition. Hugging strangers and sharing campfires with fellow nomads. But here we are, 6 years later, weighted under the folds of this uncharted year. My new companion, Bob, rescued before the closing of Los Angeles shelters bee lining for the Canadian border to follow my heart. I look at these two pictures and all I really see is love. Not the same kind of love but, love. Pure and simple and never momentary. Not sure what I’m trying to say here…other than I’ve had gin. And I hope everyone that has read this far, knows how loved they are.
