I love being a woman. I workout and don’t ever want to be overweight. I don’t think being naked on the internet is empowering— in fact I believe my body is for my husband only. I go to church. I pray in the morning. I don’t view myself as a victim because I’m black. I believe there are only two genders. I think men wearing ball gowns is weird. I think men providing for their families, being pillars of strength, and leading admirably is attractive. You’re allowed to disagree. You’re allowed to live differently. You’re allowed to struggle publicly, but I’m also allowed to NOT struggle publicly. I like normal. It’s cool. It’s okay to be okay.
