This is right out my back door. I didn’t know this trail was here. I always walked the same way until one day (today) I walked a different way. I was certain the trail I walked was the BEST trail. The ONLY trail worth walking. I knew best. Sure I did. I had seen people on this other trail from where I walked and would just mumble judgments as I balked. Truth be told, I’d grown tired of my old road but thought it was all there was…Funny how quickly that proves to be untrue the moment I open and choose something new.
The colors, textures, and even the light was more vibrant… or maybe it was in the choosing of something new that my eyes became more clear and expansive to let more light and color through. Like snakes… just before they shed their skin their eyes glaze over to a blinding opaque and not until they are finally done with the old skin will they be able to see again.
No surprise I relate to madam snake…. not really sure how she slithered into this post but I’ll take it. She knows, she always knows.
Moral of the story- you create your own reality. What trail do you choose…?
