Grimes Instagram – Just some thoughts. As I’ve seen a lot of people point out, so much crime could be prevented by working on our communities and world. As AOC pointed out this is evident in wealthy suburbs and stuff. There’s very little police presence, ppl who fuck up are rehabbed, worked on and helped. Police aren’t in schools etc. money is allocated to projects that built communities. Not saying canada is perfect (far from it) but you Def see more of this kind of vibe in Canada where I grew up. It doesn’t always work but it often does. When I think of everyone whose ever been violent or threatening towards me, all were in need of mental health services and better care than they weren’t getting. Very few humans are inherently evil. I’m not saying it can be done overnight. But we could work towards a world where we prevent damage rather than fight damage with more damage. This isn’t very eloquent. I know half-explaining these ideas can be harmful rather than helpful so I hope this is helpful and lemme know if not. struggling with recovery from baby.
