Nikhila Vimal Instagram – We lost our Achan, on December 2 to a cardiac arrest. He was admitted after being tested COVID-19 positive. There are these moments when we want to speak our truth and share a part of our healing with those who stood by us during the hardest of ordeals. When he was admitted with Covid, we were still doing everything that took to bring him back to life, but yes, life does surprise you with sharp turns when we least expect it or are prepared for it. Taking a moment to express our infinite gratitude to each one of you who reached out and extended your love and support to us as we come to terms with the absence of our father. We are forever grateful to the doctors, nurses and hospital staff who stood with wavering conditions of Achan and took good care of his last moments with immense patience. We believe that he will continue celebrating the smallest of our achievements and keep nourishing our art like how he has always done, and we will keep filling the emptiness he has left behind by creating new ways to remember him.
