Amrita Acharia Instagram – The last year has perhaps highlighted for many of us the vulnerabilities many of our elders are faced with, and the importance of the caregivers in our society. A story less told is the one of the carer and the impacts caring can have on their own lives- among the positive elements surrounding a carer’s responsibilities, there are the less spoken terms that come into play- sacrifice, burnout, care-giver’s syndrome, mental exhaustion and self- negligence are common. We’re massively driven to giving the story based on our writer @georgialoufitch the space it deserves and already have seen how many of our supporters have resonated with they project so far! Our target is 10 k in the next 25 days on @indiegogo to be able to get this made, and to be able to actually pay our incredible team!
