Namita Krishnamurthy Instagram – I met @sam_xavi and @george.kora two years ago after an audition with @launchpadcasting. Kora had a beautiful, heartwarming family story in mind and after our first meeting, I was certain this would be the most remarkable debut I could have. In early 2020, I got a call from Sam who said “Edo that film didn’t work out. But there’s something else George and I want to do. It’s a small film and we have a small role for you.” I was distraught. But when I heard the one line over the phone and read the script, I knew that what Sam had said was far from the truth. Thirike was not a small film at all. It was all big, all heart, all pulse way more than any other film could dream to be.

Exactly a year later, our small film is going to be making a big entrance on @neestream this February 26th. I had little to contribute to #Thirike as an actor but it is one that I am proudest to have been part of. Thank you for inviting me to your little-big family, Sam and Kora. Only big, big things await you this year. ❤️
