Michael Bearden Instagram – Damn! 💔 Just losing so many greats! It’s exhausting!⠀ ⠀ I want to do my best to focus on the positive and the time we’ve had while they were here.⠀ ⠀ Chick was a childhood hero of mine. Someone I was later to be able to call a friend. ⠀ ⠀ I met Chick when I was really young. And, later, we were label mates in NYC at GRP records (I was in a band at the label) in the late 80’s, early 90’s. ⠀ ⠀ Chick was always super nice to me. And, always gave me advice whenever I asked. ⠀ ⠀ One day out of the blue, I get a call. “Hey Michael. It’s Chick.” Hey Chick! What’s up man? “I have some questions about hip hop. Can you help me navigate through some ideas?” Of course. Anything I can do, I will. ⠀ ⠀ And, that’s just the kind of dude he was. I’m gonna miss him! 😢 We still have the music!
