Aimee Teegarden Instagram – 1 in 5 women in the United States will die from heart disease. My mother was 1 of them along with being part of the 64% of women who die suddenly of coronary heart disease with no previous symptoms. The grief you will go though in the wake of someone’s death is devastating and even more frustrating when it could have been prevented. I diy’ed this jacket to help raise awareness for #heartmonth and highlight how symptoms of heart disease in women can present very different from men and be easily dismissed.
