I met Smeralda when she was 13 living in an orphanage in Haiti which are mostly hot beds for organ trafficking and all kinds of unspeakable abuses of children. Team R3VOLVE has known Smeralda from a little girl so this loss hits home hard. 17 is too young to die at the hands of such unbridled aggression. As we reflect on how we could have done more and how we can do more now with all the children we serve, I know that taking a stand against Violence is as easy as one small act of undeserved kindness each day.
