Sangeetha Sringeri Instagram – (Since i couldn’t reply to all the messages) Well flora had this rare condition called Congenital pericardioperitoneal hernia, i got to know this after a week of adopting her, since she use to breath abnormally and got her scanned. The vet told the only way to save her is Surgery, which again cannot be guaranteed to be successful, the mortality rate was 50% It was a tough decision! Since Flora was asymptomatic and too young to receive a surgery i decided to let her live happily untill she could, all i could do was Love her Months passed by and flora never showed symptoms, she was hyperactive.. i somewhere felt some miracle has happen.. i barely remembered about her condition by her activeness and her love. On 21st Feb morning , Flora’s symptom started showing up, which I don’t wanna elaborate, for the first time.. my heart sank and she was rushed to veterinary hospital where she was diagnosed earlier, after calming her to scan, we found the time has come for her to go through the surgery or she won’t make it anyway. With no options in my hand, i preferred surgery as i still had “hope”! At this hard time i had my mom, my besties @shrey.u @being.yogic right beside me, we hugged and kissed Flora while tears rolled down our cheeks, it all happned so soon The operation started at 12:30 pm and went on till 3:30 pm and the doc said the operation was successful, he showed us images of the complexity of the surgery, i was extremely happy but he said she needs to wake up from anesthesia and breathe after we remove the oxygen pipe. They waited for 45mins and when they removed the pipe, Flora had passed away! It took me all this tym n strength to type this, but its because of the way she changed me.. even though her journey was short, she taught me so many things that i can never forget. She was a miracle! When those u usually seek comfort from are all grieving along with u, it can feel like u have no one to lean on for support. Thank you @ashinpaul for coming to the funeral and for helping me. I had no idea how much I needed your presence to help steady me,I genuinely appreciate it Thank you so much @kiranraj_k sir @rakshith_kaup to visit and check on her.
