Selena Quintanilla Instagram – In March of 1995 Selena performed in Miami for Noche de Carnaval. Selena’s musical talent allowed her to perform all types of genres from Tejano, Cumbia, Pop and Mariachis. In fact, before performing that night Selena said in an interview that it was important for her music to be versatile because it allowed her songs to reach so many different regions. “Si Una Vez” was no exception as it demonstrated a Mariachi-Cumbia fusion sprinkled with amazing Flamenco dance styles making this song a strong female empowered classic.
Selena Quintanilla Instagram – In 1994 hours before the 36th Annual Grammy Awards held in New York, Selena was with her sister Suzette having her hair styled in what would become one her most iconic timeless looks. This was Selena’s first Grammy experience and she was very excited. So excited that she took her camera with her so she can take pictures with other artists at the ceremony.
