Sometimes even though you were older and much cooler than me and had your own social life (which I never dreamed of having) you would watch Saturday morning cartoons with me and snuggle. You showed me what it means to be dedicated to the craft of acting. You got me into my first club when I wasn’t old enough (whoops) and then you took care of me every night I went out after and had a liiiiiiiittle too much to drink. You always encouraged me to be me. In fact you always praised me for it. You visited me when I was sick, you said you needed me to get better and you were sorry you hadn’t understood before. You fiercely protected me from anyone who made me feel like shit or scared me. You always showed up for me even when it was hard for you, or you were struggling.
