Bethann Hardison Instagram – Today it being International Women’s Day…I have so many women on my mind that I am very proud of. Some who are close to me and some from a far.
I am blessed to have witness strength and talent in so many in these many decades I have lived.
My mother and grandmother were unique characters.
And I was allowed to be who I was with little restraint and enormous support.
If I was to start naming the women that have my attention today, there are far too many in every generation, Z, Y, X and we Baby Boomers….I have always seen and been inspired by other women. As well as supported by other women, as I am today. I know if you live a strong and compassionate existence you are rewarded by support of others. Not only do you inspire you gain continued insight and remain inspired. As I continue to age I am thinking what to leave behind and
how ? Not just a book and film, but a tangible environment.
As a woman I have never felt lesser, lucky me. One main reason, I didn’t come up in a corporate environment.
My growth and support professionally was the apparel industry, in the garment center of NYC.
All roads for me started and led to style.
