All of them went extinct in the wild β and all of them came back, thanks to conservation scientists. Translocation and captive breeding was used to re-establish animal populations. Then the animals were reintroduced to their native territories. It can be a double win: helping to restore degraded ecosystems, as well as increasing population numbers.
