Priyanka Chopra Instagram – Thank you @radvocacy for giving me the opportunity to give young girls across India the ability to pursue an education. It’s especially important at a time like this, when the country is wagging a difficult battle against Covid 19, to ensure that their education continues so they can build a better life for themselves and those around them. I’m honored to receive this RAD Impact Award alongside some incredibly deserving people that inspire so much purpose. I have chosen @devishijha as my Honoree, with whom I will share this award, and @avantifellows as the charity we are creating impact for! Our RAD Impact Award will support 500 bright young women across rural India with tablets to access STEM learning programs and pursue careers in engineering and medicine. We all know that educating a girl is educating a family and community. It is also one of the most powerful ways to mitigate climate change. Devishi is a leader in the climate justice movement and a young woman, also from India, who inspires me greatly with her ambition and drive for change!
