Giacomo Gianniotti Instagram – Since the first time I saw a disney pixar film. It has been my dream to be apart of one. Apart of the magic that transpires when animation transports a child to another dimension through, color, music, and story telling. Sitting in a theatre and hearing my voice on a character in the film was an emotional experience for sure. But it was all made better by the fact that I had brought my godson who is only 4 years old. His first time in a theatre ever, and it was a disney pixar film. He loved it, it was special, and I know that it left the same mark on him that it did me. To everyone involved in this film HUGE CONGRATULATIONS 🎉 but nobody more than our incredible director Enrico Casarosa who created this story from fragments of his Italian childhood translated it to screen with masterful precision and worked tirelessly to make a film that ACTUALLY represented Italian culture in an authentic and real way, that didn’t dissolve into stereotypes and cliches.
