Vincent Laresca Instagram – Today when we look to athletes and celebrities as heroes. I look to Elijah C. DeVaughn Jr. He was selected recently as a #rhodesscholar Elijah was raised in #compton by a single mother and a father who was in prison. He overcame all that adversity and said “it ignites all that fire”. We should push our youth to be inspired by these stories and not the glorification of negativity that has unfortunately become so popular today. Elijah is headed to Harvard University in the Fall.
