Barrett Doss Instagram – When we hear political commentators use the term “Dog Whistle”- what do they mean? Straightforward and honest communication from our elected leaders should be expected, and when coded and destructive information is normalized, bad shit can happen. There’s nothing wrong with speaking specifically to certain groups, but when that communication depends on and exploits hatred, bigotry, fear and misinformation we SHOULD have a problem with it.
