Ishaara Nair Instagram – Ok! So that’s the end of the fourth trimester. We are officially 3 months old. The first three months of motherhood were a bumpy ride for me. Breastfeeding journey was thankfully really, really great. Weeks 4 to 6 was extremely difficult as my baby was colicky and he used to cry a lot during evening hours. After 6 weeks it slowly reduced and by the end of week 8 he turned into a happy lil baby. I really struggled through it as I hated to see him cry. My anxiety levels were on a 100 and I felt so angry and sad that I couldn’t help him. Thank god we’re over it now. Bless ‘em mamas who is going through that phase 🙌🙄 Last couple of weeks has been a delightful experience. Our space is filled with lil cooing sounds, giggles and laughters. When we smile at him, he smiles right back at us. He hates tummy time, but still I try to put him on his tummy. His neck muscles are getting stronger. Finally as a mamma I’ve reached the brighter side of the tunnel and am so happy and excited for this wonderful journey ahead.
