It aims at spreading awareness about the misconceptions around HIV and AIDS and its survivors. The artwork through its message highlights how everyone needs to be treated equally in society. It is a matter of time we all understand how to empathize with HIV and AIDs warriors. They would have done their share of grieving after their diagnosis, they don’t expect us to do the grieving. All we have to do is to create a space without prejudice. Let us educate ourselves and create awareness in making our society a better place for everyone. ‘We Are’, the largest panoramic mural in India, highlights how everyone has their right for equal treatment in both the professional and personal sphere. This is done by merging portraits of survivors with those who don’t have the disease to showcase how there is no difference between people.
