Swara Bhaskar Instagram – I still remember rescuing Nina, an Indie dog and taking her to @friendicoes_del in New Delhi.
Nina was having a difficult time on the streets. I felt it was my duty to give her a new, different, and better life.
I eventually brought her to Friendicoes, an NGO that I had always known about through their exceptional work. But after seeing it myself firsthand and the passion of all the people working there to serve the animals, I fell in love with Friendicoes and their mission. 💜

The doors of the elevator opened and inside was the entire Kapoor family and you were standing tall in the middle. I remember your warm infectious smile and enthusiastic ‘Hiiiiii’ that dispelled any fear that I may have had about you being ‘a spoilt diva’ or a ‘tantrummy princess’.. in the years that have followed knowing you has been one pleasant surprise after another and one humbling realisation after another. Watching you conduct yourself with generosity and largesse has taught me to be a better and less judgemental person; and your friendship has made an industry vagabond feel a little bit at home in #Bollywood.
