Tanushree Dutta Instagram – I know this caption comes with a super glam pic from a recent event & photoshoot but still I can’t help telling y’all what I felt few days bk.
I’m accustomed to a reasonably comfortable life since my childhood and I’m grateful to God for that.
I order my usual no carb, gluten free, diet meal n dessert from a speciality cafe and thoroughly enjoy the scrumptious food. But last few days my morsels dont go down my throat without dollops of guilt..a feeling that millions are perhaps going without food in our country in this pandemic.
I donate what I can afford every year to charity, but still this aching pain I felt was beyond words. I felt horrible about eating such exclusive food but I was hungry so I ate it anyways. It was so confusing to feel like that. I asked God in my prayers later that night..why do I feel like this?? He spoke back to me like a telepathy- “get used to it….it will grow along with your privilege” … something like that. Anyways I decided to order grocery and only cook my own diet meals today onwards. I’ve also decided to lead a simple life apart from my work related glam appearances. Hopefully I wont feel bad now.
