Jesse Rath Instagram – Bat tricks 🤖⚾️
The scene in 6×05 where I do the “bat tricks” was two weeks in the making. I carried a baseball bat around with me at all times, to and from set. Practicing constantly at home and at work. I have never played baseball before in my life, but have seen videos of people “twirling” (is that what it’s called? I still don’t know) and always wanted a reason to learn how to do it. There was no mention of any “bat tricks” in the script… but I just thought… if Brainiac-5 played baseball… he’d probably be the best at it.
Shout out to @hollydeveaux for putting up with me during those 2 weeks…. Broke a couple things in the apartment… cleared the kitchen table a few times and nearly took her head off once… 😅 love you 😙💕
