Shannon Kook Instagram – I don’t know the science behind aura photos but I got treated with one on a cute surprise date, as I am certainly one who believes in energy and the auric field. Mine had a strong sense of yellow, as well as orange and red – the solar plexus, navel and root chakra. They say these are a snapshot in time so your colours can change quite quickly depending on your state of being at that point in the day. Something I have enjoyed doing while meditating before Taekwondo is picturing white and rainbow light from the cosmos washing through my crown chakra all the way down through my root chakra and picturing roots growing deep into the earth while connecting to source energy through my crown. I used to do this as soon as I woke up but I have certainly slacked in my meditation and practice in breath and presence.
