The thing is, this is an accidental crop, and for a second year, it has made an encounter with a brown snake while scavenging the plants from @johgriggs7 compost bin worthwhile. Got a great crop last year & how’s this for low maintenance – they self grew this year, appearing without any effort from me under my watermelon. Unlike broccoli there was no conquering required, which makes my headline kind of redundant really. #birdnerdsrusfarm 👊🏻🎉
