Home Actress Ellise Chappell HD Instagram Photos and Wallpapers July 2021 Ellise Chappell Instagram - Hello! 🍊🍊🍊 It’s #plasticfreejuly and I’ve teamed up with @legoodsociety and the ‘Let’s Live with Less Plastic’ outdoor art exhibition to create a painting to highlight the continuous issue of plastic pollution, and to encourage people to live with less of the stuff. It’s now up on a billboard in Westfield, Stratford thanks to @oceanoutdoor and @oceanforoceans 🐳 My piece focuses specifically on the issue of plastic food packaging and the power we hold as consumers. When plastic is used for food packaging, it becomes an undervalued, disposable material; one that is used and thrown away sometimes within minutes. And yet, plastic lasts forever, slowly breaking down into toxic microplastics that permeate our ecosystems. With my painting, I hope to highlight this mismatch, whilst appealing to our immense capacity for empathy. FREE THE FRUIT! To accompany the painting, the immensely talented @yuanwho shot a short video where I talk about my work (I’m a crazy pumpkin lady?), the idea behind the piece, the amazing @exxpedition_ (an incredible organisation who tirelessly raise awareness around the issue and who I learnt so much from), and a few thoughts on plastic food packaging. Click the link in my bio to watch the full thing and head to legoodsociety.com to check out the full exhibition !💥
