An ode to our rich heritage and culture. The gharara( غراره) is a traditional Lucknowi garment, worn by Muslim women of Hindi Belt. The gharara originated from the Farshi Pajama which was worn in the late 17th – 20th centuries, in the Muslim courts of Awadh or Oudh by royalty. It was a symbol of status and sophistication. Huge shout out to my favorite brand @neemblockprints for custom making this block printed outfit for me. I had so much fun wearing it. 📸 @justhussaini
