Do you feel we as indians romanticise Kashmir more than any other place in India? Why do you feel that is? I am more excited to be here than any other place. My mom used to get so worried everytime I talked about visiting Kashmir. So I stayed away for so long. A lot of us have been scared to come here. But the people of Kashmir are inviting you to their beautiful land!! They are the sweetest and so hospitable and so excited to have tourists. I can’t wait to edit the videos for you. Shenaz Treasurywala Instagram – What’s a place you visited as a kid that you went back to or still want to go back to as an adult? For me it was Kashmir!! I remember it so clearly as a child. The snow capped mountains, the shikara ride! But everytime I planned to go back my mom got very nervous because of the unfortunate situation in Kashmir for so many years. FINALLY this year I mentioned it again and she smiled. So I spontaneously packed a bag, bought a ticket and went for my birthday!! Kashmir has been a dream, even prettier than I remember it. Everywhere I put my camera it is like a painting.
