“Two years ago on this day was the live taping of a sitcom I created called “The Emperor of Malibu,” about a family from China that moves to Malibu after their son falls in love with an American girl. I had the privilege of witnessing the amazing @kenjeong, @thedeborahscraig, @taylizlou, @maxwillemsofficial and @alanchikinchow put their heart and soul into creating magic in front of a live studio audience. While the show did not get a series order by CBS, it remains one of the proudest and most incredible experiences of my life.”
