She taught me to join my hands to the sun every morning, she taught me how to pray and have faith. Most importantly Data/दाता – As we lovingly called her – helped me find Dance. Her love for dance made me a dancer. As a little kid I danced In front of her to make her happy… and she’d always be delighted. It’s because of her that I am so attached to my roots.
