Today is a special day. Today is the day that my brother John Stamos was born. To say we are like brothers is an understatement. We have been through so much together for 35 years. High, lows- The usual you go through with your closest of people in your life. But what I have to say here, is how damned lucky I am to have John in my life. He has always been there for me. Even when I could be unbearable. Anyone who knows him knows what a beautiful person he is. And I’m not talkin’ about his gift of looks. I’m talking’ about the gift of his heart. I’ve learned so much from John, and I am truly blessed to have this good man as my brother. He deserves the happiest birthday of birthdays.

So much fun hangin’ this weekend with one of my best friends on the planet, Dave Coulier. I met Dave in in a bar in Detroit on a “comedy night” when he was 18 years old and I was 22. We became instant friends. Who knew eight years later he would be cast in a TV show with my other lifetime brother, John Stamos, that I would join many months after they had already shot the pilot. What a gift of friend Dave is. A brother from another mother. That’s it. Just saying what a treasure it is to have a friend for most of your life that’s always there for you. Through good and bad. Sounds cliche but it is what it is. And @dcoulier is one of the funniest people I’ve ever known. Thanks for all the laughs this weekend Dave. Love your ass. Wait, I meant I love YOU.” Your ass is toxic. Oh, it’s Bob btw.

Stopped in Huntsville, AL to do some shows @standuplivehunt otw to Nashville to some shows and man, we’re those audiences amazing— Made up of Rocket Scientists and other people. That got a laugh for some reason. Stopped to see @rocketcenterusa @spacecampusa and it was nice to see NASA history and old and new rockets shaped less like the Bezos Massage Wand. Last night’s audience was so appreciative for the show, they stood up before I was finished— and not to leave. Thanks Huntsville. Stay well. Onward to Music City. U.S. Space & Rocket Center

We’re pleased to announce a new SRF-funded research study: Establishing a Spatially–integrated Transcriptomic, Epigenomic, and Histologic Signature of Fibrosis in Systemic Sclerosis, led by Michael Longaker, MD, and Howard Chang, MD, PhD from Stanford University School of Medicine.
By utilizing newly developed ways to examine fibrotic tissues, Drs. Longaker and Chang will gain an understanding of fibrosis that is unprecedented in its scale and depth. These technologies will also give researchers new insights into potential therapies that can reduce or prevent this burden for patients.
The SRF is committed to identifying and funding the most promising, highest-quality scleroderma research that will drive scientific discoveries forward.
