I’m overwhelmed to finally be announcing new music. I want to thank all of you who are following along and caring about the things I create.
After the past year, I couldn’t think of a more fitting song to release as the first single of my new Bright World album. After a year of not being able to hug anyone, I offer this song as that embrace for anyone who needs it. This one is very close to my heart, and was only possible because so many of my dear friends showed up to lend their voices remotely to help me finish the song during lockdown. You know who you are. I love you.
This song is a rallying cry. You are not alone. We form a human chain. We recognize each other through the openness of our hearts. And we are at our best with arms outstretched, interdependent and free to express the love that naturally begs to flow. Even when we forget. Our roots reach into deep belonging and mingle there. This song is for the bottom of your heart and the top of your lungs. The truth rings. You are not alone. 🔅
