Tarun Lak Instagram – Some Soul work!

It was awesome to get cast these shots- some serious acting from Soul Joe, and some fun comedy from Soul 22. One of the tricky things here was to switch gears to serious to funny really quickly.
Luckily the storyboards for this sequence was so good, I just had to not mess it up.

The close up of Joe is one of the first times I’ve had to animate something so sincere- learned a lot from fellow animators and the leadership team.

And for the 22 stuff, I was particularly inspired by Chuck Jones Bugs Bunny sensibilities- such fun to animate.
