Angana Roy Instagram – Yesterday. You left us four years ago, yesterday. I couldn’t bring myself to do anything yesterday, let alone post anything on social media. This picture was taken by my mother sometime in 2004, probably in Summer. We went to this exhibition in Dakshinapan where wooden and handmade pieces were being sold. Bouma’s love for jute bags and my love for camera is evident here. Bouma never liked to be photographed much, this is one of the few pictures where she didn’t object. I remember sporting this short hair back then and wearing this dress ever so often. Oh, and as it’s evident from the picture, I would never leave my Bouma’s side, ever. She brought me up in Asansol along with my Doo. While scrolling through your pictures in the ‘People and Places’ section of Google Photos, I stumbled upon this picture. It’s not a picture of great significance as it was clicked quite randomly, but I wish to post this for the same reason.
