Guess who watched your scenes on loop🙈😍😍 Have always been a huge fan of this fantastic actor, so why is Family Man S2 so special??? For several reasons I believe:)) Not just have the makers of this brilliant series, moved the narrative so far south and touched upon controversial issues that have raged for decades, but managed to do so without so much as a scratch on any particular region, community, language, people or person.. that’s simply brilliant.. kudos👏👏 Now, for Devi.. the manner in which she prepares to get into the skin of the role and look, walk, talk, react, the part is, simply thesis material. She shined all the way with her accent, demeanour, stunts (my, my..) and funny (not meant to be, but did have that effect) one liners here and there.. I, like countless others, consider myself lucky to be existing in a period of time when legends like Raja sir and Mani sir are still creating history, what say:)) The music has made me feel every emotion I knew and frankly, didn’t know, existed, within me. His songs have been the pillow to bury my head into, my best friend on long drives, my sole companion at all times I’ve had mundane stuff to do, so much that even the most boring work becomes absolute fun.. above all, romance in my life can never ever grow dull as long as I listen to Raja sir’s songs!! The films by Mani sir have redefined relationships to me and made me fall in love, weep, broke my heart, feel vengeful, victorious, made me laugh, what not.. Feel very privileged to have had the chance to work in Mani sir’s films.. very special, because you unlearn and something new emerges from you.. Truly, consider myself lucky to have been part of classics like Kannathil Muthamitaal ( Simran ), Guru ( Vidya Balan, in tamil ), Cheliya ( Kaattru Veliyidai in telugu, Aditi Rao ), Chekka Chivantha Vaanam ( Jyotika, in tamil and telugu ) Now, the combination of these two giants is what makes me feel the most amazing feeling of all I’ve said.. it makes me feel ALIVE!!!
