Divya Spandana Instagram – I do want to see your skin care routine and how quickly you can get ready to the count of ten, how you ‘buss it’, how you put on make up just by snapping your fingers and also unboxing the new stuff you’ve just received, what you wore to a friends party/wedding, dancing to your favourite track and I definitely want to know what’s on your plate, how many kms you’ve run, how you are working from home, managing your work life balance- we all deserve this and much much more. Women have come a long long way. BUT I’d also like to see that you care. That you have a voice. We could not have made it here if not for the women (& some men) who raised their voices fearlessly for our rights and our freedom. If Disha Ravi the 21 year old climate activist is in jail today- we are all collectively responsible. We’ve been mute spectators to this spectacle in our country for too long. When was the last time we spoke up for a fellow citizen? Have we forgotten the power of the people? Have we forgotten that this country is ours to make? Reminder- India is for the people, by the people and of the people. These women were jailed because they had an opinion. Because they raised their voice against injustice. These women came out of their comfort zones to fight for us. They put everything at stake, their family, their career, their friends, everything. We must speak up for them now. Show them that we care and that we are in this together. Now where are all you women at? Let’s make some noise. Raise your voice! #WomenforWomen
