Today it’s 115° f , 46° c here in Portland, which is much hotter than it’s ever been here, ever. This week the heat shatters all the records.. You know, heat makes me feel angry, and right now I feel very, very angry…angry just like @gretathunberg. Why can’t we all see what’s happening with the same clarity she does? Then we would all feel so angry, we would insist, INSIST upon a carbon tax, and upon industry making the HUGE.RADICAL CHANGES we need and making them NOW!!! I am so completely sick and tired of all the stupid idiots who deny what is going on. How will we ever we pull ourselves away from the brink of this disaster when we have to haul the dead weight of their stubborn, selfish ignorance behind us? But it’s not just the climate crisis deniers who are to blame, it’s all of us, each and every one of us who go on living our lives as though nothing were happening, because it’s not so bad everywhere all the time, and because it’s just too hard to think about it…such is the stupidity of humanity.
