I had to return her to her happy place. I could not stand to see her so sad. Today we have returned. For two months I tried to find a place to belong, a place to call home. Nothing fit. When you come from many places you are rootless, without a home or culture to call your own. This is both good and bad. To be a part of no memories, no ties, no bonds to people or home. I used to relate to the astronaut floating above the earth, on her own in the vast darkness and quiet of space. But then I realized I always saw the astronaut from above and it was then that I realized I am the universe. We are the universe. 🇲🇽🪐 Pearl / Perlita y yo hemos intentado vivir en una ciudad durante los últimos dos meses. Nuestros espíritus estaban muriendo.
