Josh Brolin Instagram – I am living the painter’s life. I brushstroke through each day and along with God, and some friends, people I meet, some to come, some to go, I pirouette on this canvas that those before us played, built and ruined. And now is our turn, these choices to swim through, with giggling children on our shoulders, sometimes crying — the streets tungsten lit, yellowy and stained with a wine that I stopped drinking years ago.
Grateful to even move, feel, taste this morning. I got on my knees to touch thanks, lean over to taste my wife’s neglected lips, then went upstairs to inhale the scent of the tops of my babies heads. Thanks for it all, even, yes, being able to paint this circus canvas with what is me in the little ways that I am able and that I’m not totally fucking useless through it all. ❤️🙏 Photo by @kathrynbrolin | Posted on 08/Sep/2021 18:45:19
