Phil McGraw Instagram – 45 years ago today, at a small church in Texas I married this woman, Robin Jo Jameson, given away by her loving father Jim and blessed by her sweet mother Georgia. It was, bar none, the single smartest decision of my life. I wore a rented Tux, she wore a $100 wedding dress she had put on “lay-away” months earlier, paying it off at $5 a week until it was hers. I was 6’4”, she was 5’2” and weighed maybe 100lbs, IF she had a lot of change in her pockets! My 90 year old grandmother said for all to hear “My stars, what does he want with that little old thing!?” She was herself about 4’11” and my grandfather was 6’10”!! They were married over 70 years! I guess that’s about the long and short of it. Join me in wishing my beautiful wife HAPPY 45th ANNIVERSARY!
