Doing the work. the process doesn’t feel as romantic as being a vessel but 99x out of 100x it’s facts. count on one hand songs that feel like they were channeled through me compared to the body of work with OLP, my solo albums & MoonVsSun . born through the process. Process isn’t beautiful. Ugly. Unromantic. dirty. Experimenting , failing , feeling worthless, lonely, but suddenly tapping into something inspired deep in the process. Those moments are art. imo. A piece of clay won’t turn into a beautiful sculpture on its own. can’t will it’s form. gotta get in there & mold it. Break it down .
