Amala Akkineni Instagram – Worldwide Veterinary Service – Mission Rabies project was launched in 2013 with the Mission Rabies Truck travelling around India, inspiring veterinarians in the localities to learn high quality animal birth control surgeries to control the free-roaming dog population.

India Project for Animals and Nature (IPAN), a registered charity based in the Nilgiris, Tamil Nadu, collaborates with Blue Cross of Hyderabad, Telangana to train local veterinarians as well as general public about rabies control and humane dog population management. Training Program is scheduled to start from 9th to 21st August and 23rd to 27th August followed by Rally

“Join us on 28th August 2021 to spread awareness and make the mission to prevent Rabies Successful!”

The flagship of this collaboration is the Mission Rabies Truck, a highly equipped and customized Mercedes Zetros 6×6 vehicle is in the city to lead this project. It is a high-tech, all-terrain, self-sufficient mobile veterinary hospital vehicle and will be staffed by Indian led teams of vets and paravets.
